Bitcoin held firm above $77,000 on Thursday, even as investors remained cautious amid ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, despite an extension of the U.S.-Iran ceasefire. Meanwhile, the broader crypto market faced pressure, with most altcoins declining as rising oil prices dampened risk appetite. Ethereum dropped 2.92% to $2,316, XRP fell 2.54% to $1.41, Cardano slid 3.65%, and both Polygon and Solana recorded losses of around 2%.
