Bitcoin dropped more than 2.5% on Tuesday, falling toward the $63,300 mark and reaching its lowest level in ten days as weakness in AI-related technology stocks spilled into the cryptocurrency market. Investors remained cautious ahead of a key U.S. Federal Reserve policy decision later this week, adding to market uncertainty. Bitcoin was last trading 2.76% lower at $63,346, its weakest level since July 17. The broader crypto market also extended losses, with major altcoins declining amid a risk-off sentiment. Ethereum fell 4.22% to $1,881, XRP declined 4.6% to $1.0593, while Solana and Cardano dropped 3.9% and 4.71%, respectively.

Highlights Of The Week

  • Binance co-founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao advocated for crypto license passporting across ASEAN, calling for a streamlined approval system that would allow firms licensed in one market to expand into others without restarting the regulatory process.

  • New York Attorney General Letitia James called for stronger crypto oversight from Congress, warning that proposed federal rules could limit states’ ability to investigate fraud and enforce accountability among crypto platforms.

  • Bitmine Immersion Technologies reported holding 5.79 million ETH, representing approximately 4.8% of Ethereum’s total supply, after adding nearly 10,000 ETH to its holdings over the past week.

  • Tether’s gold-backed token XAUt secured Shariah certification from Amanah Advisors, potentially increasing adoption among Islamic financial institutions and investors seeking Shariah-compliant access to physical gold exposure.

  • Kraken parent company Payward agreed to acquire Magic Labs’ wallet-as-a-service business, strengthening its enterprise infrastructure capabilities amid rising demand for onchain financial services.

Quant firms’ AI edge, now inside Claude and ChatGPT

For decades, the most powerful intelligence lived behind the closed doors of quant firms — billion-dollar funds whose algorithms quietly out-traded everyone else.

That era just ended.

Co-Invest by Liquid is the first way to trade directly inside Claude and ChatGPT. Ask your AI to analyze a market, stress-test an idea, or build a position sized to your comfort level, then execute, right there in the conversation. No jargon. No twelve-screen terminal. No guesswork.

It's built for people who want to invest smarter, not gamble harder. You set the risk tolerance. The AI does the heavy lifting. You approve every trade.

The institutions made the game, Co-Invest gives you a way to beat them.
