In developed countries, two out of every ten people have interacted with digital currencies in the last three months. The crypto usability keeps enticing more users into the industry and the need for users ID is becoming an area of concern and that is why you need the DigiByte ((DGB) Technology to keep you protected.

With the growth of mobile money transfer on the rise, hackers are upping their game and are targeting your mobile money and cryptocurrency through crypto and SIM jacking. However, with the Digi-ID technology, their field days appear numbered.

Launched in 2014, DigiByte came gained a global recognition late2017 when altcoins boomed. The coin has been growing steadily ever since to record a growth of more than 9,000% amid a rollercoaster market. The January DGB price surge has always been a good measure of its performance in the future.

Why the DigiByte (DGB) Increased Attention

The DigiByte website says that the system is “the fastest, longest and most secure and decentralized UTXO blockchain in the world” and it has lived to the expectations. By looking at the platform block times, the statement is true. The blocks come up every 15 seconds and the speeds have never changes since the genesis block back in 2014. This makes Bitcoin look like an amateur in the industry.

At the moment, the network speeds have been impressive. It handles 560 TPS compared to Ethereum and Bitcoin handling speed of 15 and 7 TPS respectively. The DigiByte ecosystem plans to reach 280,000TPS by 2035. The investor is not worried about system congestion even as more adoption continues on the platform meaning transaction fees will still remain near zero.

Apart from drawing attention from the current 560TPS, the coin hosts over 70,000 nodes operators across the network. This is a true decentralized outfit and has enabled the coin rank 31 by market cap. DGB was intended to streamline the ever increasing demand in the gaming industry but due to technical complications complicated by DoS (Denial of Service) attacks, the vision fizzled off.

New Look DigiByte (DGB)

DigiByte has transformed itself into a platform that offers high level security features through the open source ID system; the Digi-ID. This is a very effective feature that saves digital asset users the agony of using usernames and passwords anytime they access their online funds.

Digi-ID protects crypto users against crypto criminals and hackers that are lurking everywhere to pounce on your personal information to steal your crypto. All you need is Digi-ID pin or use finger print detection feature to access your online wallet; a move that has proved to keep hackers away from your online personal data.

With this fool-proof system, you cannot transmit any data or information that hackers track. With the continuing acceptance of the technology, mobile telephony giants are eyeing Digi-ID to integrate into their system to curb the increasing SIM-jacking instances that are on the rise making mobile money sending and receiving insecure. The recent AT&T sim-jacking is a clear indication of the directing cyber and crypto-crime is taking and DigiByte has a timely solution for it.

DigiByte Partners worth Noting

At some point, DigiByte partnered with Minecraft and League of Legends. However, the relationship appears to have webbed away since the blockchain outfit shifted its focus from the gaming industry to offer bespoke security systems through Digi-ID. This was a major boost for DGB and its impact still keeps the coin among the respected coins in the industry.

As a new outfit with a new product, DigiByte attracted the attention of Microsoft which saw it added on Azure but the news, like the Minecraft and League of legends seems to have died with the hype. The blockchain outfit has unveiled a new strategic investor, Investa with more focus on driving its spend-ability agenda to the next level

Investa is a financial service provider and the partnership with DigiByte will see the coin incorporated into its debit cards and users will be able to access their DGB through the Investa growing ATM network. This will help the DGB coin gain stability in the market and become a better value oriented asset of the future.
